&along with that i have fallen in lurrve with kimonos
her designs are exquisite, with the details of vintage silk, embroidery, flowing silhouette and just about every stitching..
as you know, her style is quite bohemian but it can also be romantic - a 60s, 70s inspired.
it's like my autumn wardrobe; breezy, free and flowy but with that texture for the cooler days.
these are some favs - yes, most her kimonos.
where you can find these intricate pieces; where i work (Igedo) and City Dweller - that's the only place i've seen them in:)

killer poncho

winter is rising so very fast, which means layer and layer and layer and extra layers.
i am on the hunt for some ponchos and capes, yes it's quite european - i love.
i am also quite petite, which means i could drown in those enormous ponchos but whatever, they'll be cosy and can chuck them over any outfit pretty much when you're in those lazy days (tend to get a tad lazy during winter)

now if you can't really break the bank with new capes and ponchos, cause yes, they aren't v.cheap.

use the jacket as poncho trend..

effortless

i just can not get enough of the europeans.
they make dressing seem so ..effortless. throw on a pair of shorts and a tee - it'll always look better on them.
is it the atmosphere, just because they're in a foreign area that makes me attracted to them?
or is it the way they are photographed?
or they just seem to have the best taste in styling? well from what i can see. YES!

Whenever I've run out of inspirations on what to wear I flick through these pictures and hopefully my love for fashion comes back - which usually does!

I want to wake up every morning wanting to wear pretty clothes like these and actually take the time and effort to dress how I really feel and want to.

prepping for winter

is all i can think about from this sweltering hot weather!
i am a very big fan of the cold weather. summer makes me stress. makes me not want to dress up pretty and wear nice clothes - aka. lets just go bareless :)
what im eye-ing off for this winter (yes, am already..) are fur ankle boots.

I like my pants ! and hardly ever wear jeans so i like to go pants..

personally, I've always been a fan of preppy, man-style look and these "capri"/crop pants are perfect!

and the best thing is, if you can't afford to buy a new pair of pants..

just wear your old trousers and roll them up 3/4 up your calves !

&pair them up with a pair of Moccasins/loafers or boat shoes (Sperrys a fav)

3. Bell Bottoms

one, that I wish I could pull off, but sadly am to short for are the flarey trousers.

It just looks so elegant and chic..sophisticated. just aweee.
