bringin' sexay back

backless bare is always sex. no matter your shape or size - a bare back is the solution for something sexy yet still conservative. never have thought a backless as being tarty. but if you believe so, let me introduce the cut-out jacket.

.........................................................................................................................................................................................
cut-out jacket;
noun
1. a normal jacket with a hole at the back in whatever shape you desire it to be.
2. jacket with a chuck of material snipped out of it.
-it is so breezy wearing a cut-out jacket, perfect for autumn. you still get warmth around your arms yet a little bit of air around your back.
.........................................................................................................................................................................................

i've been on this cut-out jacket thing for a while now. &have not seem to be able to get my hands on any. curious as to what it is?

i think i'll just have to snip up an old jacket?
do-able yet messy and uneven - trust me.
but it's soooooo hawt!

printed printer prints

#1 obsession right about now. prints. if i could spell that out in printed words i would.

i've always wanted to the matchy-matchy prints. &it's been a "fence-sitter-on-the-go" for me. it's always been an inspiration for me to double print or triple! i've tried &done a few a while back. &willing to experiment with more again now. it's addictive i say. you just want to add more &more. it's like one print isn't enough and two isn't. how about the third print? satisfaction level...adequate?

i believe, fashion has no rules. no guidelines. no in and out trends. no boundaries.
as man repeller says; fashion should be art!
and art has no right or wrong. a four-year-old holds a picture of rows of flowers and calls it art. can we raise against that? only if you want to burst his/her bubble!
so i say, there is no such thing as:
1. you can never mix stripes and spots
2. 'blue and green should not be seen'
3. shoes and bags must always match
4. wearing boots during summer is considered weird
5. denim on denim is a big no-no
6. hats are for outdoors and beach trips only
7. never wear just one colour for top and bottom
8. don't mix black, navy and brown together
9. 'if it doesn't fit you must acquit'
10. last but not least, never mix prints
(oh there's plenty more ridiculous ones)

whenever i'm doing the window display/mannequins at work i tend to forget to stop dressing them like me. &people at work would instantly know i just did the dressing for the mannequins. it's ah-mazing how each of us at work can pick out who did which mannequin! i find it utterly intriguing exploring other people's style and finding what it is &possibly incorporating some flair into my own.
now. it's time to. get inspired!

&who cares if men don't find you attractive when mixing prints. they're just..lacking in creativity.
&check this from the man repeller herself. more inspirations.

summersummersummer

think i may be six months too early for this post. but in the fashion game - it's never too early!
first it was the gladiator sandals (or some may call "jesus" sandals), then the military boots along with the 'everything' khaki, and now..the MAROONS!!!
a fad is a fad. but seriously, over-doing it can get a little sickening.
I used to adore my maroon cardigan that I've owned for years &now it's a turn-off.
everywhere is maroon! maroon! maroon! I don't know if the shops are in celebrations of winning the State of Origin but maybe tone down the support. hint: Supre!
as much as i love winter &this colour is perfect for winter, i'm counting down the days to summer now (for once). can not seriously wait for summer fashion now. bright colours &florals! even though i still can wear bright colours during winter, but i sense ah-mazing summer fashion ahead!
&lucky me get to view summer very soon.
here is what i am looking forward to this years' summer etc.
HOT PINK BRIGHT BURNT ORANGE EXTRA LIME GREEN
my colour palettes for the season. utterly in lurrve.
oh, &also espadrilles!

think bright candy colours (not those pastel candies)
always adored bright pink and green together.
(reminds me of my Leighton Meester painting)

gathering the basics

I've decided to start gathering for basic essentials because..it's essential. could be pricey but well-worth it in the long run :)
what are the basics? quick run-down. (or maybe a big list)
but everybody's basics are different to one another, well here's a peak to mine.
hopefully this will help with my packing endeavour!

basic 101; for work &play

needless to say?

everybody's LBD will be different it HAS to fit perfectly
i go for a more baby-doll figure,
or something fitting around the waistline

it isn't a 'bad act' look anymore.
the perfect leather jacket is hard to find.
hint: you would need more than one.

people may think this was just a phase,
but i have believed the parka has always been an essential
in the wardrobe!

the blazer isn't just for work anymore,
made for lunch dates and shopping days.
my essential blazer is a nude colour.

&again, not just for work.
trousers are way cool now!
i have a collection now, lurve it.

owning a few skirts! plain. the right shape. colours.
go for colours for easy matchy-matchy.

i absolutely lurrve these; navy, red, black.
they make any outfit look chic &effortless.
must gain the red &black stripes now.

two floral dresses? why?
one mini and one maxi!
both being able to be dressed for night and day time!!

who says denim is lame?
go for a darker denim for shirts and lighter for jacket,
that's just my pick anyway.

when you're lazy to dress.
throw these on and a pair of leggings.
set for a lazy day - anywhere!

a few pairs of different colours is essential.
once you got the black, grey, khaki, white,
go for electric patterns!!

the hardest item to scout!
bootcuts. skinnys. flares. boyfriends. high waist. low rise..
the list is endless. find that pair!! &don't forget one shade each!

you never know when you're about to swim?!
of course you need one of each; onesie &two-piece.

the dreaded collection.
a wedge. chloe sandals. tory burch flats.
louboutins pumps. hunter boots. lacoste sneakers.
