giving us an extra hand OJ1*

We all want our daily jobs to become easier day by day..
I'm not sure in which industry you are working at, but journalists are deffinitely getting extra boost with new innovative technology and digital friendly devices.
While browsing PSFK (click away if you have no idea what that is), I came across this new iPad app that "lets you annotate photos with your voice". You're probably thinking.. what?!

Rundown: You take a picture. You then record a voiceover, that could include where you took the picture, any funny memories of that capturing moment, basically anything you want to remember about that picture.
Come to think of it, it is a video without the moving pictures.. if that makes sense.

Now, how is this useful for journalists? Have you ever heard or read a live blog? It is a coverage of a ongoing or uncovering story. The journalist would post updates every several minutes. This new app would be one of the ideal tool for live blogging. Point and shoot at a footy game and be your own commentator. Sounds too easy? Because it is. Here is me proving how easy it is..

You can upload it straight to Facebook and Twitter, send it through email (which gives you a link that you can include in a live blog), and even apply filters, frames and titles for all you crafty-artistic journalists.
