first ever online purchase

now that's a lie.
what I meant was, first online purchase on campus!
very excited. I opened my mailbox and inside was a white slip with my name!
I knew it had to either be my "lost" textbook that was 2 weeks late or my new shoes!!!
the mail office then handed me a huge box, so then I knew it was my lovelies!
yes, I opened it there. how could I not.
so it was my first online purchase AND also my first jeffreys. YAY!

It was kind of an impulse buy. I was just watching TV one night and a commercial came on for shoes...
and you know how it ends now. can not wait to take these babies out to town!

we all love wool, don't we!

so I have recently been contacted by Woolmark, they are launching a new campaign called "Fashion by Feelings (their website is a definite check out, it's all prettty with colours, strings..and WOOL!!)
what's the go you ask? let break it down for you, very easily.
1. it's a campaign to encourage fun, perky ladies like yourselves and  the trendy gentlemen to start styling their own individual rocking style with a bit of wool here and there.
2. the campaign aims to "educate people about wool as a natural and renewable fibre" but I would say, it's a fun way to post your daily wooly outfits!

SO CHECK OUT THE WEBSITE ABOVE and STYLE STYLE STYLE & POST POST POST & VOTE VOTE VOTE!! yes there is a prize for the most voted outfit, of course!

I will definitely be posting an outfit, but there is a but.. as I am currently not located with my wardrobe I have minimum access to wool and where I am here is SUMMER. I think I only have one access to one piece of wool garment.

the first thing that popped up in my mind with wool is, hideous chunky dull-coloured jumpers with weird patterns on them. but after checking out the fashion by feelings site, wool is now considered a friend!!
what else is wool?! as someone from down under another thing that pops up is UGG BOOTS!
here in the states people are c-c-crazy about ugg boots, they go crazy on sales. it's weird. while in Australia people actually think they are the most ugliest footwear to wear. but i adore my uggies! so comfy.
perfect walking to the shops or camping trips, or whatever floats your style. &we all know once the A-list are spotted with those furry thing on the feet the entire world will be going just about crazy! so I will not bother posting celebs with hip-cool uggies.

but what I will do is this..

watch next post for wooly wool wool outfit post.

raving at the arm party

forget house parties and soirees! it's all about the arm party.
again, it's all the man repeller! genius.

arm party;
noun
1. multiple bracelets stacked around one or more wrists.
2. strings of leather, chains, metal, and strings wrapped around a wrist or two to accommodate a party for these type of strings.
- your arm party is going off!
- i am no longer inviting that Pandora to my arm party.

this is my first attempt to throw a sick as arm party. hopefully everyone got home safe. & it wasn't too rowdy.
meet:
Pandora, Thomas Sabo, Melbourne find, Hermes
they all got along just find. definitely scouting for more party go-ers.
maybe even a arm sleepover.

i think this arm party is too good to be true. i would cut my arm and place it among this one.

let's see who can throw the raddest and most bad ass arm party!!

bringin' sexay back

backless bare is always sex. no matter your shape or size - a bare back is the solution for something sexy yet still conservative. never have thought a backless as being tarty. but if you believe so, let me introduce the cut-out jacket.

.........................................................................................................................................................................................
cut-out jacket;
noun
1. a normal jacket with a hole at the back in whatever shape you desire it to be.
2. jacket with a chuck of material snipped out of it.
-it is so breezy wearing a cut-out jacket, perfect for autumn. you still get warmth around your arms yet a little bit of air around your back.
.........................................................................................................................................................................................

i've been on this cut-out jacket thing for a while now. &have not seem to be able to get my hands on any. curious as to what it is?

alexander wang; giveaway!

i think i'll just have to snip up an old jacket?
do-able yet messy and uneven - trust me.
but it's soooooo hawt!

printed printer prints

#1 obsession right about now. prints. if i could spell that out in printed words i would.

i've always wanted to the matchy-matchy prints. &it's been a "fence-sitter-on-the-go" for me. it's always been an inspiration for me to double print or triple! i've tried &done a few a while back. &willing to experiment with more again now. it's addictive i say. you just want to add more &more. it's like one print isn't enough and two isn't. how about the third print? satisfaction level...adequate?

i believe, fashion has no rules. no guidelines. no in and out trends. no boundaries.
as man repeller says; fashion should be art!
and art has no right or wrong. a four-year-old holds a picture of rows of flowers and calls it art. can we raise against that? only if you want to burst his/her bubble!
so i say, there is no such thing as:
1. you can never mix stripes and spots
2. 'blue and green should not be seen'
3. shoes and bags must always match
4. wearing boots during summer is considered weird
5. denim on denim is a big no-no
6. hats are for outdoors and beach trips only
7. never wear just one colour for top and bottom
8. don't mix black, navy and brown together
9. 'if it doesn't fit you must acquit'
10. last but not least, never mix prints
(oh there's plenty more ridiculous ones)

whenever i'm doing the window display/mannequins at work i tend to forget to stop dressing them like me. &people at work would instantly know i just did the dressing for the mannequins. it's ah-mazing how each of us at work can pick out who did which mannequin! i find it utterly intriguing exploring other people's style and finding what it is &possibly incorporating some flair into my own.
now. it's time to. get inspired!

&who cares if men don't find you attractive when mixing prints. they're just..lacking in creativity.
&check this from the man repeller herself. more inspirations.
